Alumni Center
Where the Magic Happens
MSUM's new building will house the MSUM Foundation, which has led successful campaigns to raise over $59 million, including funding for the Alumni Center. The center will serve as a hub for fostering connections between alumni and current students, allowing them to meet and share experiences. Donors will have the opportunity to see how their scholarships have impacted students, while current students will be inspired to give back to their university in the future. These connections create a powerful magic that benefits both students and alumni.
The House That Alumni Built
The MSUM Foundation Board, known for supporting student scholarships and campus needs, is now cheering for and donating to their own project, the MSUM Alumni Center. The facility will be a space for student and community interactions and serve as the anchor for alumni returning to campus, with the Foundation's office housed inside. Leaders believe that the center will create better connections with alumni, making them feel like a part of campus again. Alumni will also have a visible touchstone, a symbolic beacon of MSUM's legacy of philanthropy, reminding them of the generosity of those who came before them.
MSUM Alumni Center
Foss Architecture + Interiors was commissioned by the MSUM Alumni Foundation to develop a conceptual design for a new Alumni Center building to be located across the street and to the west of the Campus main gate. The facility will consolidate all Alumni and Development offices in one location to foster a collaborative environment and share reception, resources and support functions.
