Veteran & Military Programs

MSU Moorhead has a strong support system of Veterans and military service members, and we encourage you to connect with others through one of the involvement opportunities available on campus and with local organizations and partners. These programs focus on serving the needs of military connected students and improving retention and outcomes.

VA Work Study
VA’s work study program gives student-Veterans work experience and a monthly part-time income.
Veterans Club
The Dragon Student Veterans Club offers camaraderie, resources, and support.
ROTC
MSUM students can participate in both Army and Air Force ROTC through the Tri-College program.
General Education Mobile
GEM allows enlisted members of the United States Air Force and Space Force to earn general education credits.

MDVA's Higher Education Veterans programs connect you with educational benefits and resources.
Dragon VALOR
Veteran Ally Organization creates a welcoming inclusive campus for student Veterans.

Yellow Ribbon Advance
Yellow Ribbon Advance is a community-wide partnership to support veterans and military-related students.
