Many local businesses could benefit from Fargo-Moorhead's international student population when it comes to filling available internships. This panel discussion and Q&A, sponsored by the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce, will provide an informative look at the ins and outs of hiring international students as interns and bring to light just how easy the process is.
Hear from Minnesota State's Immigration Attorney, university representatives from Concordia College and MSUM and local business leaders about their experiences adding international students to their team. The event also includes time for networking.
- Understand the process for recruiting international students as interns
- Identify the required paperwork needed to qualify for recruiting international students to your organization
- Learn about the value of OPT/CPT work authorization and what it can mean for long-term employment
- Hear the experiences of businesses that have recruited international students as interns
Cost for this workshop is $15, which includes refreshments.
