Why should you visit MSUM?
It's the best way to get a feel for campus life
You can research online as much as you want, but the best way to find out what MSU Moorhead is all about is to experience it in person with a campus visit. Visiting MSUM during the fall or spring semesters while classes are in session will give you a real feel for student life on campus.
Meet with an Admissions Counselor
Your Admissions Counselor has a wide array of knowledge at their disposal for you to take advantage of. They will happily answer any questions you have about academics, athletics, campus life and so on. It’s always likely that they can help you connect with professors, coaches or other departments on campus within the same day too.
Dragon Ambassador Guided Tour
Dragon Ambassadors are actual students who will show you around our beautiful campus. Tours are filled with information about campus but they also share information about their personal experiences. On your tour, you will see what every day student life is like. You will see classrooms, the wellness center, dining hall and much more!
Housing and Residence Life
During your visit, you will also get a housing tour. Each hall is unique in its own way. You can see just how MSUM students live. If you visit during fall or spring semesters, several students will even have their doors open for you to catch a glimpse of actual on-campus life.
Fargo-Moorhead Community
Your visit doesn’t have to be limited to campus. Fargo-Moorhead is a growing community with a lot of restaurants, shops, parks and more. We encourage you to stick around and see what the community has to offer.
How to Schedule Your Visit
We offer campus visits Monday-Friday and select Saturdays too. Check it out online and schedule your visit. Feel free to call us at 218.477.2161 or email us at tourmsum@mnstate.edu with any questions about your visit.
