MSUM Students Use Film and Animation Skills to Bring Holiday Cheer

One of my favorite holiday traditions at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) is our annual holiday video. The Marketing & Communications team at MSUM employs several students from our film, animation and graphic and interactive design programs to work on video and photography projects throughout the year. The holiday video is always a shining example of our students' creativity, skills and patience for intricate work.

This year’s video, which features stop motion animation and green screen videography, is bound to make you smile. It features familiar MSUM icons and exemplifies what it means to "not take ourselves too seriously".

Thanks to President Anne and Scorch for bringing their best holiday cheer. And, a special thanks to the students who worked on this video: MaryJo Nelson (ecology and evolutionary biology and film production) and Jacob Nubern and Joe Rosener both majoring in film production.

Happy Holidays & Seasons Greetings!
