Students who do not meet admission requirements may apply for Provisional Admission (PA). Provisional applicants must work with their academic School of Social Work advisor (or the BSW Program Director - only if you do not have an assigned School of Social Work advisor) to develop a plan to meet all admission requirements; then they may proceed to formally applying to BSW Online program.

The degree plan below is a model for completing your online Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree in a timely manner. The plan below is one of several possible ways for you to complete the online Social Work degree.
The BSW online program at MSUM is delivered in a cohort-style format. You will be admitted and take your courses with the same group of students on a set schedule. Course delivery will be delivered online asynchronously.
The School of Social Work considers only complete applications for admission to the online BSW program, and applications may be submitted the semester prior to admission.
