Three state-of-the-art computer facilities provide you with advanced technology tools to facilitate a real-world learning environment. A Windows-based lab with 32 computers, a Linux lab with 21 workstations, and an advanced technologies research facility lab are available to Computer Information Systems students.
Excellent internship opportunities exist in the Fargo-Moorhead area at large organizations like Microsoft and startup companies like Myriad Mobile or Clifton Labs, to name a few. They’ll help you gain real-world experience before graduating and joining the workforce.
Multiple closely related majors in the department mean you can double or even triple major by taking a small number of additional credits. Computer Information Systems, Computer Science and Computer Information Technology majors are also offered at MSUM.
