Request Accommodations
If you have a disability, we encourage you to visit with us personally to discuss your needs and to receive services. We are here to assist you in making the most out of your MSUM education.
Eligibility for Services
If you are requesting accommodations due to a temporary health condition such as injury, surgery or a short-term medical condition, such as pregnancy, broken wrist or concussion. Unlike accommodations for ongoing disability conditions, accommodations for temporary medical conditions are not required to be provided by disability law. Temporary accommodations are provided as a courtesy service of the university. If you have specific questions related to temporary accommodations, please contact Accessibility Resources.
Steps to Apply for Accommodations
The first part of the Accessibility Resources eligibility process is to self-identify as a student with a disability and request accommodations. In order to evaluate accommodation and service requests, Accessibility Resources will need information about how your disability is likely to impact you here at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM).
