First Year Mentors

Dragon Mentors are peer leaders that are here to assist you throughout your transition to MSUM. Whether you are a freshman or a transfer student, we want you to feel informed and connected to campus. After you are registered for classes, you will be assigned to a specific First Year Mentor. For first-time students, you will be assigned a Mentor based on your First Year Experience (FYE) course. If you do not have a First Year Experience course, you will be assigned to a non-FYE Mentor. If you are a transfer student, you will be randomly assigned to a Transfer Mentor. Your mentor is available for any questions you may have, insider tips, or just someone to laugh with through awkward moments that inevitably arise when you are doing something new.
