MSUM Speech-Language Pathology graduates have extremely high job placement 99 percent and PRAXIS examination pass rates at 98.6 percent for the three-year average.
Upon completing the five-semester program, you’ll be qualified for clinical positions in communication disorders throughout the nation. More than 50 clinical practicum affiliations are available for off-campus practica and internships, including medical, school, private and other settings.
After graduation, approximately half of MSUM’s Speech-Language Pathology graduates work in a medical setting, while the other half work in school settings. Employment in all sectors of the field is growing steadily. Employment of speech-language pathologists is projected to grow 21 percent in the next 10 years and about 14,000 job openings are projected each year on average.
