School Psychology Program
MSUM Program Redesign Approved May 2021
The redesigned School Psychology program will continue the MSUM commitment to high quality training.
The redesign includes:
- On-campus instruction or remote options for students who cannot move to Fargo-Moorhead but have access to school connections for practicum.
- A 2-year + internship or 3-year + internship track
- NASP accreditation (as before)
- Increased content in areas such as Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Social Emotional Behavioral Health.
Application Timeline
Applications will be open mid-summer 2021 through February 1, 2022 for a new cohort starting Summer 2022!
School districts interested in working with MSUM to “grow their own” school psychologist are encouraged to inquire for more information. School Psychology is a great career where you can make a difference working with children, families, and schools.
