School of Media Arts, Design & Entertainment Courses & Curriculum
The School of Media Arts, Design and Entertainment offers a variety of courses in media, visual art, film, design, audio technology and entertainment. Degree programs in Film Production, Film Studies and Animation offer students courses in directing, producing, HDV and 16mm film production, post-production techniques, moving image aesthetics and criticism. Graphic and Interactive Design majors focus on the creation and production of visual images, with coursework exploring areas of print production and design, web and multimedia development, 3D graphics, brand identity, typography and visual systems. Audio Production and Technology students will forge a path customized to the career they want to pursue after college. Students pursuing a degree within the School of Media Arts, Design and Entertainment are taught by highly engaged faculty with diverse professional backgrounds.
