The 4-Year Plan is a model for completing your BS in Communication Arts and Literature Education degree in a timely manner. The plan below is one of several possible ways for you to complete the Communication Arts and Literature Education degree.
Successful completion of this program will qualify students to apply for a middle level Minnesota teaching endorsement in Communication Arts and Literature, which will allow them to extend their Elementary or Secondary teaching license so that they can teach English/Language Arts in grades 5-8. A grade of C- or above is required in all coursework for this licensure.
Nearly all of our Communication Arts and Literature Education graduates go on to become teachers at public and private middle schools and high schools across the region and the country.
