Undergraduate tuition and fee rates for on campus, face-to-face, online, blended, hybrid asynchronous online, synchronous online, remote teaching and hyflex courses and classes including student fees.
Minnesota State University Moorhead has transitioned to an “In-State Tuition for Out-of-State Students” model. Under this new system, all domestic degree-seeking undergraduate students, regardless of their state of residence, pay the same standard tuition rate as Minnesota residents.
Tuition and fees refund appeals includes both undergraduate and graduate courses. For appeals of tuition students must be fully withdrawn from the class and/or classes for which the tuition appeal is being submitted. Appeals must be submitted to Business Services within 90 days of the end of the term that the requested appeal is for. All correspondence regarding a student’s appeal status will be sent through the email address provided.
If a student totally withdraws from the University, MSUM will refund a percentage of tuition and fees to the student and/or the student's financial aid funding sources according to the schedule as established by the MnSCU Board of Trustees and the University.
The 1098-T Tuition Tax Statement is an informational tax form filed with the IRS on behalf of a student by their college or university.
