The Migrant Issues Task Force was established in 1989, jointly funded by local funds and a greant from the West Central Minnesota Initiative Fund. The Task Force’s goals, to be carried out over a three year period, were to identify problems related to the migrant community in the Moorhead-Clay County region off Minnesota, and to develop solutions to those problems. The Task Force selected a project coordinator, appointed committee members, and began its efforts in the summer of 1989.
Correspondence, committee meeting minutes, progress reports, brochures and pamphlets developed by the Task Force, and news clippings about the Task Force. All materials are in excellent condition.
